If I had written a book "2017" in 1984, I would write, "In the year 2017, people using electronic device to detect the dishes in restaurants, whenever a dish is put on table; before started eating, all the eaters using their own scanner to duplicate the food on the dish, and stored the images inside the digital device. If they are sitting down in a coffee shop without a digital device at hand, they are considered psychopaths.
I don't have a time machine, therefore I didn't write such a novel.
Anyway, I have received a photograph of a 1936 Stout Scarab minivan, I forward the photograph to Andy, asking him if he wants a minivan like this.
Andy dials a telephone call to me, "Josephine, you can't park this van when going out. Unless for joyride."
"I can bring all of our friends to the beach."
"This van is parked in a museum, if you have a time machine do not use it, otherwise you will bring all your friend back to war time."
