A Dream life 4

I ring up, "Hello, I would like to talk to Mr. Graham, please put me through, thank you."
He is on the phone, I have to wait for a while.
"Hello, this is Andy."
"Hi, Andy, this is Josephine, I have a customer, Mr. Duncan, his new house needs modern furniture. Do you have anything very innovative, such as three legs chair?"
Andy is a furniture company owner, he has the collection of the world furniture designers' works. He should have something for Mr. Duncan.
I drive my vintage Holden to pick him up from Wan Chai district, driving him to Mr. Duncan's new house.
On our way, Andy says, "Josephine, why don't you buy a house in Hong Kong Island, if it isn't because of you have to come for a business reason, I seldom hear from you."
I reply, "I will buy one house in the southern part of this Island, I have been buying lottery every week, if I won lottery again, I shall buy, please wait for me. Oh, I am going to the Bankers' party, do you want me to distribute your business name cards to the guests?"
"Yes, please. Where is the venue?"
"I don't know yet, it used to be held in Shangri-la Hotel, but I've heard that this year the bankers shall invite more than a thousand guests, they may have to hold the party in a football field."
"Have you contacted Joshua, yet? He may have some art works that you may want." Andy said.
When we reached Mr. Duncan's new house, I ring up Joshua. "Hello, may I speak to Mr. Allaway, please."
The line was put through, Joshua on the phone, "Hello!"
"It's me, Josephine, I have a wealthy customer, Mr. Duncan, Please come to his new house, and give me the quotations of your most expensive art works."
Joshua has a collection of art works for 30 years, and most of the fast moving consumer goods were the low price works. I know art is priceless, but we have bills to be paid.
After the day's work finished, we go to the takeaway fast food shop in a backstreet of Central Business District.
It is my investment, a Sushi Bar plus a fish & chips pub; customers need to stand up when eating and drinking.
You can't burn a candle on both ends. One must sacrifice the comfort in exchange for cheap and good food.
During our conversations we touched on the topic of John Burns; that is when he shifted into his attic home on the top floor of an old factory building, he went to a training lesson of Fast-roping. He has a full gear at home in case of fire outbreak.
