A dream life 10 - Cellar
Today is a lovely sunny day, so I do not mind working on Easter Saturday. I drive my car to Mr. Duncan's new home, to see the newly built at the shore swimming pool. It is actually a big sieve, an instrument with a meshed or perforated bottom, used for separating coarse from fine parts of loose matter, etc. But it is as big as 6 foot L. x 9 foot W. x 4 foot H. made of stainless steel, put onto the sea, which attached to the seashore of the cliff in front of the house. It has a function of a swimming pool but actually swimming in the sea.
And this house was built in 1920 by an Englishman, right after the First World War, therefore the owner built a dugout, not a canoe, but a cellar.
If I live here, I shall convert the cellar into a private library, a study, a drawing room, and a Mahjong and snooker game room, a T.V. room, and a wine cellar.
But the rear and front doors are too small, to let the snooker table in.
Anyway I have to inspect the progress of the constructions: The cliff in front of the house is constructing a floating dock; and a crane to lift up the speed boat to the cliff top.
The next thing I shall do is to conduct a matching making parties before the house warming party in this house. I shall sell admission tickets to single women, each ticket costs HK$5,000; about 20 guests at each party. I shall be rich soon.
